My name is Joe, and I started this site on July 1st. I originally intended to launch the site on July 5th, Adam’s birthday, but ended up launching it on July 3rd. I wanted to start OwlCity.org, because there weren’t any Owl City fan sites anywhere to be found. I wanted to keep fans updated, with everything: Videos, News, Photos, etc!
I started the site because I love Owl City and have since 2008. I loved the sound of Adam’s voice, the hope found in his lyrics, the calm ambient sound, and the way it all sounded put together. It was something I hadn’t really heard, or even expected. I had been a fan of Lights since 2007, and Adam sounded so similar to her. My favorite songs are West Coast Friendship and The Saltwater Room.
I hope you enjoy my website, I’ve put a lot of effort into it.
